Rotating or Flipping Your Mattress: Check the Difference Before You Turn It
A common online mattress-care tip is to turn the mattress regularly. Before following it, check what “turn” means and whether the advice applies to your model. Rotating a mattress and flipping it are different actions; a general Reddit recommendation cannot replace the manufacturer's instructions.
Rotation keeps the same surface facing up
Head-to-foot rotation changes which end of the mattress is at the head of the bed. The sleeping surface remains on top. Flipping turns the mattress over so the underside becomes the upper surface. A mattress designed with a particular top comfort assembly should not be assumed to work equally well upside down.
Confirm what your model allows
Look for a care label and identify the exact model. Ask whether rotation, flipping or a particular orientation is recommended, and what schedule applies. Do not use one interval for every foam and spring mattress, or infer permission from the fact that both sides are covered in fabric.
The Araamco Spring Mattress is described as dual sided. Confirm the care routine for your purchased variant rather than applying its instructions to the rest of the range.
Plan the move before lifting
Remove bedding, clear the route and get appropriate assistance for a mattress you cannot handle comfortably. Follow handling instructions and avoid folding, dragging or bending a model that is not designed for it. Check whether handles are intended for positioning rather than carrying the full weight.
Do not treat rotation as a repair
If you notice damage, persistent unevenness or a suspected fault, take photographs and contact Araamco. Moving the mattress does not establish that the problem has been corrected. Inspect the base and retain the invoice and warranty card before making a claim.
